Platform staff assistant and controlled actions¶
The Platform staff assistant helps authorized Zerohive staff investigate platform operations and prepare specific changes for review. It can bring together tenant, billing, service-health, Support-library and governance information. Staff remain responsible for deciding whether a proposed action is appropriate and checking its result.
This capability serves the team operating Zerohive. It is separate from an organization's everyday HiveAI assistant. Being a tenant administrator, manager or executive does not grant platform staff access.
Why it matters¶
Support staff can investigate a tenant problem while keeping the affected organization explicit. Billing staff can prepare commercial changes within their assigned authority. Platform administrators can review more sensitive changes. Managers and executives can understand who is accountable without needing to learn the underlying interfaces.
The assistant prepares one step at a time. A suggested change is not permission to execute it. A saved request is not evidence that the requested change succeeded.
Current availability¶
The backend contains saved conversations, durable requests, action proposals, role checks, event recovery and platform-funded model execution. The intended Platform Console screen is ahead of the frontend. The full interactive journey and deployed environment have not been qualified.
Known limitations affect conversation context, long action previews, protected-review composition and recovery. The staff guide explains their practical consequences. It distinguishes the observed design from controls that still need implementation or verification.
What staff review¶
Before approving a change, confirm the acting staff member, the target organization where applicable, the exact change and reason, the current source information, and the review deadline. If the details have changed, refresh the source and review a new proposal.
Some operations start a longer workflow, such as an export, deletion or Support publication. Check that workflow's own status before telling someone it has finished.
Ownership and related guidance¶
The platform owns staff identities, saved requests and platform AI cost accounting. Each affected service remains responsible for its business rules and final operation state. A model response cannot extend a staff member's permissions.
- Use the staff assistant and recover safely.
- Understand platform administration.
- Understand AI governance and operational controls.
- Publish global Support guidance.
For reviewed dictation and eligible spoken responses, see Platform staff voice. Recording, speech generation and assistant actions have separate cancellation, recovery and cost outcomes.
